Santrifon-100
Indications:
Recommended for the effective control and treatment of ecto and endo parasitic problems in Livestock and poultry.
Ectoparasites in domestic animals including poultry, e.g. lice, fleas, ticks, sheep kids, mange, mites, chicken mites, flies.
Ectoparasites in cattle grubs (Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum, Dermatobia hominis), nasal bots (Oesttrus ovis) and screw worms. Various gastrointestinal parasites in cattle, sheep, goats, and horses, especially horse bots (Gastrophilus).
Composition:
Each gram powder contains:
Trichlorophon 980 mg
Silicaon Dioxide 20 mg
Dosage & Administration
Cattle/Buffalo/Sheep/ Goat/ Horses/ Poultry:
1.5 g of Santrifon powder to be added in 1 Liter of water and carefull spray on animals or dip for 1-2 minutes, also spray on floors, walls, ceiling, nests, windows and doors “OR”
10 g Santrifon powder to be added in 100 ml water and administer 0.3 ml to 0.5 ml / kg b.w. PO.
Note: Use immediately after mixing.
Tolerance
Santrifon is well tolerated in the recommended doses. Intoxications can only occur as a result of carelessness or misfortunes and be effectively treated by i.m. injection of atropine sulfate 1% solution.
Adult Cattle, Horses: 8-10 ml
Calves, Sheep, Goats: 2-5 ml
If necessary, repeat the injection after 1-2 hours.
Precautions for use
- Pregnant breeding females must be treated externally only.
- Close the jar tightly after use and protect from heat and moisture.
- Store away from human and animal foodstuffs.
- Use plastic gloves for preparing drug
- Keep the drug away from light & heat.
- Leftover drug should be discarded safely
