GN-50 (Injection)
INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of acute bacterial infections due to Staphylococcus, Actionbacillus, E. Coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Corynebacterium and other sensitive spp of Pasteurella and Proteus. Also recommended for the treatment of pneumonia and other respiratory infections, haemorrhagic septicaemia, salmonellosis, enteritis and enterotoxaemia. Actively helps to treat abscess, external wounds, mastitis, meteritis and other urogenital infections in small and large animals.
In poultry Gentamisan is suggested for the control of early chick mortaily due to colibacillosis, salmonellosis and pseudomonas infections.
COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains: Gentamicin Sulphate USP …… 50 mg
Dosage and Administration
Camel/ Horse/ Buffalo/ Cattle:
8-10 ml per 100 kg b.w for 3-5 days (IM, SC, Slow IV)
Foal/ Calves/ Goat/ Lambs:
4-6 ml per 50 kg b.w for 3-5 days (IM, SC)
Dog/ Cat:
1 ml per 10 kg b.w for 3-5 days ((IM, SC)
Poultry:
1 ml per 5 kg b.w for 3-5 days ((IM, SC)
Mare: (For Metritis)
10-20 ml (acute cases), 40-60 ml (chronic cases)
Cow/ Buffalo: (For Metritis)
Use 10-20 ml in 50-100 ml of normal saline.
Precautions For Use
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a cool and dry place.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
- Use only on Veterinarian advice.
