ATC-150 (Oral Powder)
INDICATIONS:
ATC-150 is recommended for the treatment of fastidious infections, which are difficult to treat particularly the chronic infections. Amoxycillin and Colistin combination covers maximum range of gram +ve and gram –ve bacteria. Therefore, ATC-150 is the best choice of veterinarians in the treatment of respiratory, urogenital, gastro-intestinal and other visceral organ infections. It is effective against Haemophillus, Salmonella, E.coli, Clostridium, Staphylococci and Streptococcal infections.
COMPOSITION:
Each kg of water soluble powder contains:
Amoxycillin Trihydrate 150 g
Colistin Sulfate 500 MIU
Dosage and Administration
Sheep/Goat: 2 – 3 g in drinking water per 20 Kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Cattle/Buffalo: 4 – 5 g in drinking water per 50 Kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Horse: 3 – 4 g in drinking water per 50 Kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Camel: 5 – 8 g in drinking water per 50 Kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Poultry: 1 – 2 g per liter of drinking water for 3 – 5 days. “OR”
50 g per 50 Kg feed for 3 – 5 days.
Overdose / Adverse Effects:
At recommended dose levels, ATC-150 is quite safe. Toxicity results at very high dose levels. Signs of toxicity include: muscle spasms, general weakness, decreased urinary output and oliguria.
