Sanbutazone-20
Indications:
Sanbutazone-20 Injection is indicated for relief of inflammatory conditions associated with musculoskeletal system including arthritis, tendonitis, muscular and articular rheumatisms, inflammatory complications of trauma, infection, hyperthermia, congestive processes and heat strokes.

Phenylbutazone B.P 200 mg
Product Description:
Phenylbutazone is a synthetic, non-hormonal, anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic agent useful in the management of inflammatory conditions. The apparent analgesic effect is related to phenylbutazone’s anti-inflammatory properties. Chemically phenybutazone is 4-butyl-1,2-diphenyl-3,5-pyrazolidinedione, which is a pyrazolon derivative entirely unrelated to steroid hormones, with following structural formula:
Clinical effectiveness of phenybutazone is proven in acute rheumatism, gout, gouty arthritis and various other rheumatoid disorders.
Like other NSAID’s, phenylbutazone acts directly on musculo-skeletal tissue to control inflammation, thereby reducing secondary inflammatory damage by alleviating pain and restoring range of motion.

Dosage and Administration
Horses:
1 – 2 ml / 100 kg bodyweight by slow intravenous injection only under Doctor’s advice for 5 days at most.
Adult Cattle / Buffalo:
15 – 20 ml / day or on alternate day depending on severity of the symptoms (IV) “OR” 15 – 20 ml first day, 20 ml second day followed by 10 ml daily for 4 days (Deep IM)
Foals / Calves:
6 – 10 ml / days or on alternate day depending on severity of the symptoms. (IV)
Sheep / Goat:
1 ml / 10 kg bodyweight deep IM.
Precautions For Use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store at room temperature.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
- Do not use for more than 5 days.
Contra-indications:
Do not administer to pregnant or lactating animals.
Do not administer concurrent with other NSAID’s, corticosteroids and other ulcer causing medications.
Do not administer to dehydrated anaemic or to the animals with liver or renal dis-orders.
