Sanadine-33.3% (Injection)
INDICATIONS:
Sanadine 33.3% Injection is indicated in the treatment and control of infections cause by or associated with organisms sensitive to sulphadimidine in cattle, buffalo, horse, sheep, goat, dog, cat, pig, and poultry. Sulphadimidine is specifically effective for bacterial enteritis caused by Escheritia coli, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis septicaemia and infections of respiratory tract caused by Pastreurella haemolytica, atrophic rhinitis caused by Bordetella bronchisptica, wooden tongue caused by Actinobacillus lignieresi. Sanadine-33.3% injection is also effective in the treatment of coccidiosis and foul in the foot.
COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains: Sulphadimidine (as Na) 33.3%
Dosage and Administration
Cattle / Buffalo / Horse:
Initially 30 ml / 50 kg body weight IV or IM followed by 15 ml / 50 kg body weight as maintenance dose 25 hours after initial dose. The treatment should continue for 5 days.
Poultry:
During early coccidiosis and other poultry diseases, use 30 ml of the injection in 4.5 liters of drinking water for 5 days.
