Neosan-500 (Oral Powder)
Indications:
Neosan-500 is indicated for the prevention and treatment of bacterial enteritis in sheep, goat, calves and poultry caused by bacteria susceptible to neomycin, such as E. coli, Salmonella and Campylobacter spp.
Composition:
Each kg of water soluble powder contains:
Neomycin Sulfate B.P 500gm
Dosage and Administration
Poultry:
1 gm per 3 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Sheep, goat, calves: (For oral administration)
1 gm per 100 kg b.w for 3-5 days.
Note: For pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only
Withdrawal Period
Poultry:
Meat: ………. 7 days
Eggs: ………. 7 days
Sheep, Goat, Calves:
Meat: ……… 21 days
Precautions
Prepare fresh solution for daily use.
Keep out of reach of the children.
Store at room temperature.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
